The next couple of weeks promise to be a blur of activity. We'll try to put out a news item like this every couple of weeks to bring out the highlights.

Tuesday, Feb 9, the scrimmages vs Garland have been canceled for both the varsity and junior varsity squads.(These were later re-scheduled for Feb 10)

Saturday, Feb 13, the varsity and jv squads travel to Southlake Carroll to take on the Dragons. Players need to pay attention at meetings this week to know what time the bus leaves. Scrimmages are scheduled for 12 noon.

UPDATED: Wednesday, Feb 17, 4pm:  the Varsity hosts Irving at AHS, while the jv squad heads to Irving for a 4:30pm scrimmage.  And the FRESHMEN have ADDED a 4:30pm scrimmage vs McKinney @ Lowery.

UPDATED: Wednesday, Feb 17, the Home Run Club meets at 7:30pm at the Athletic Facility. Rookie and Veteran parents alike are encouraged to join the Home Run Club (Membership dues include two passes the the home games). Meet the board, learn about volunteer opportunities and begin thinking about how to get involved this year and next. You may also order your membership, as well as spirit wear, online. Just follow the Membership (not Diamond Club) or Spirit Wear links at the top of the page.

The schedule gets cranked up a notch after the 17th. With the freshman opening play on the 19th, all squads will be in action the weekend of the 19th & 20th.

Friday, Feb 19,  all games v Rockwall @ 5pm : Varsity @ Rockwall; JV @ AHS; Freshman @ Lowery.

Saturday, Feb 20: Varsity hosts Heath and Sachse with game times set for 11am and 3pm at AHS.  Junior Varsity travels to SACHSE for a double-header at 11pm and 1pm. Finally, the Freshmen travel to Rockwall Heath for a game at 11am.

Want to see your son's team chronicled here ? Volunteer to write game summaries - using as many players names as possible - to be posted here after the games. Two of us wrote summaries for the freshmen games last year and posted them on this site. Received many thanks from folks who cant be at every game and relatives of players who live elsewhere.
