Boyd's Trevor Steele (JR), who played freshman ball in Allen, pitched a no-hitter Friday night against Allen's JV squad. The outing was only one HBP and four walks shy of a perfect game. He recorded at least five strikeouts in the five-inning affair. Only one Eagle made it as far as third base. Koenigsman was one out shy of a complete game for Allen. Cornell relieved him with runners at the corners in the bottom of fourth. He struck out the 9-hole hitter on four pitches to close the inning. The team is back in action Saturday morning, at 10am.
